Applying for a Licence - Charges Payable
Following consultation new FEPA charges apply wef 24th July 2006An application charge is payable for most categories of licence issued under the Food & Environment Protection Act (FEPA) which comprises two elements:
a fee to cover the cost of the administrative processing of the application, and
a further one for scientific assessment and enforcement.
A supplement is also payable for works proposed in environmentally sensitive areas. No charge is payable for a consent under either the Coast Protection Act or Telecommunications Act. Click for further infomation about charges for on-line applications.

How Payment May Be Made
Payment of the licence or approval charge is accepted by cheque or via BACS and must be made at the time of application. A refund of all or part of the total charge may be made in the event that an application is withdrawn before it has been fully processed.
